Editor's Review
A 2.35 average against 10M+ installs is the first thing worth explaining, because those two numbers come from different eras. Easy Taxi grew large as a Latin American taxi-hailing brand, the name was then folded into Cabify, and what remains is an old audience running on newer plumbing.
The core behaves the way ride-hailing always does. Set a pickup point and a destination, see the fare before confirming, watch the assigned car approach on the map, pay with a stored card or in cash where that is offered, and rate the driver at the end. Trip history and receipts are kept for anyone claiming journeys back from an employer.
The score says the execution disappoints people, and a rating that low is usually about supply rather than code. Users open the app in a city where the brand once worked, wait, and no car arrives, because drivers have moved to the parent brand's own app or left the market. Long waits, cancelled assignments and fare surprises all follow from that thinness. Account and payment trouble left over from the platform migration is the other recurring theme in the reviews.
There is still a narrow case for it. Where Cabify's network is genuinely active and this remains the local entry point, it works like any other hailing app. Everywhere else, check that cars actually appear on the map before trusting it to reach an airport, and keep a second option installed.

Questions people ask
Is this the same as Cabify?
It is the Easy Taxi brand operating on Cabify's platform. In several markets the parent app carries more drivers, so it is worth comparing availability in your own city.
Why does the rating sit so low?
The dominant complaints are no cars available, long waits and cancellations, plus account problems following the platform migration. Those are supply and transition issues rather than bugs in the booking screen.
