What it covers: clocking in and out, viewing published schedules, requesting time off and watching balances, picking up or trading shifts where that is permitted, reading pay statements and year-end tax documents, and working through benefits enrollment when the window opens. Managers additionally get approval queues and a view of coverage.
The catch: you cannot use it independently. Signing in needs a company identifier alongside the credentials your employer issued, and if your organization has not licensed a given module, the matching screen either disappears or sits empty. No. The app is a client for your company's Dayforce environment. You need the company identifier and the credentials issued by your employer's HR or payroll team.
Why is a feature missing from my version?
Dayforce is modular. If your employer has not licensed or enabled something such as shift trading or benefits enrollment, those screens will not appear for you. Your HR contact controls this, not the developer.
