Editor's Review
Discount chains run on coupons, and that is what this app is for. Family Dollar's Android app clips digital offers to an account, opens the weekly circular, tracks rewards and points you at the nearest branch. At the register, the phone number attached to the account applies whatever has been clipped.
The parts that work are the parts a shopper actually uses: reading the weekly ad before leaving the house, clipping offers while standing in a queue, and checking which store still counts as nearby. For anyone shopping the chain regularly, the savings are real, and some of them cannot be reached any other way.
The parts that do not work are visible in a 3.71 average across 10M+ installs. Retail loyalty apps at this scale tend to accumulate the same faults: coupons that fail to register at checkout, sign-in flows that log people out at the worst moment, slow loading inside stores with poor reception, and stock information that disagrees with the shelf in front of you. None of it is fatal, but it explains where the score sits.
