Editor's Review
The pitch:
Bojangles built its name on fried chicken and made-from-scratch biscuits across the American Southeast, and this is the chain's ordering and loyalty channel. Build an order from the full menu, choose pickup or delivery, pay on the phone, and collect points on the way.
Ordering:
Customisation is where a restaurant app earns its keep, and this one lets you adjust a combo, swap sides and store a favourite order for repeat use. The nearest location and its hours are pulled in automatically, including the breakfast cutoff, which matters at a chain where the biscuit menu ends partway through the morning.
Rewards:
Points accrue on qualifying purchases and convert into menu items, and offers land in the app that are not advertised at the counter. Scanning at the register credits walk-in visits as well as orders placed ahead.
Worth knowing:
The 3.89 average is typical for a mid-size chain: complaints gather around orders that never reach the store, promotions that refuse to apply at checkout, and a sign-in that occasionally forgets you. Geography is the other limit, since the chain is concentrated in the Carolinas and neighbouring states and the app has nothing to offer outside that footprint.
