Editor's Review
The idea: Jeronimo Martins Polska built this app around the Moja Biedronka loyalty card. It shows the card as a scannable code at the till, holds the coupons assigned to your account, carries the current leaflets that used to arrive on paper, and runs Shakeomat - a promotion where shaking the phone reveals a discount you can then activate. Store finder, opening hours and a history of what you have bought fill in the rest.
Why the rating is what it is: 2.41 across 10 million installs is a striking gap between reach and satisfaction. Polish reviewers return to the same points repeatedly: coupons that fail to register at the checkout, an app that insists on a live connection to display the loyalty code exactly when the shop's mobile signal is weakest, log-outs that force re-verification by SMS, and promotions with conditions that are hard to read before you commit to them. The app is also heavy for what it does, and updates have been criticised for reshuffling the interface.
Still worth it? If you shop at Biedronka in Poland the discounts are real money and the app is the only way to claim most of them, so the practical answer is yes. Go in expecting to open it while you still have signal, and to check that each coupon actually applied before you leave the till.
