It is the official donor tool from Australian Red Cross Lifeblood, and it handles the administrative half of giving: find a donor centre or mobile unit nearby, see which slots are open, book, reschedule, and receive the reminder that prevents a missed appointment.
Around that sits the donor record. Past donations are listed with dates and type, milestone counts tick over, and the app shows the earliest date you next become eligible, which differs between whole blood, plasma and platelets and is the detail donors most often get wrong. Pre-donation questionnaires can be completed ahead of the visit, trimming the time spent waiting at the centre.
The 4.2 average is respectable rather than glowing, and the pattern behind that number in booking apps is usually availability rather than software: the app is a window onto a scheduling system, so when the nearest centre has nothing free for three weeks, the app is what you end up annoyed at. It is also Australian by definition, and it needs a donor account, so first-time donors register before any of it becomes useful.
