A tally counter is one of the few app ideas where doing less is the whole point. Click Counter stands in for the mechanical clicker used on doors, during stock counts, in prayer and dhikr practice, at bird hides and anywhere a running number has to survive being interrupted. Tap to add one, use the other control to take one away, reset when the count is finished.
Digital Fish keeps the design to a large readout and large tap targets, which is what matters when your attention is on whatever you are counting rather than on the screen. The total stays put when you leave the app, so an interruption does not cost you the number you had reached.
There is little to criticise in something this small, and equally little to separate it from the many other counters on the store. The choice usually comes down to which one carries the least intrusive advertising, and a free tool has to earn its keep somehow. That is worth checking before you depend on it in the middle of a long count.
