Parcel apps live or die on one question: does the tracking update when the parcel actually moves? DPD Mobile, from DPD's Polish arm, covers the expected ground - follow a shipment through the network, get a notification once it is out for delivery, change the delivery date or send it to a Pickup point or locker instead, and find the nearest of those on a map. Registered senders can prepare and pay for a shipment from the phone as well.
The 3.11 rating across five million installs is the sticking point, and the store complaints are consistent rather than scattered: notifications arriving after the courier has already been, redirect requests refused because the parcel is loaded, and login trouble. Some of that is operational rather than software, but the app is where customers run into it.
It is still the quickest way to change a delivery in Poland, provided you catch the parcel early enough. Everything here is specific to DPD Polska; other DPD countries publish their own apps.
