Editor's Review
The idea: Pixelvoid's editor is a drawing tool for blocky character skins. You paint on the flat texture template or straight onto a rotating 3D model, and the two views stay in step with each other.
Tools you get: Pixel pencil and fill, a colour picker, layer handling for the outer overlay parts, and an undo history for the inevitable stray pixel. A library of ready-made skins is there to edit instead of starting from a blank body, which is how most people actually use tools like this, and finished work exports as a file you apply yourself.
Worth knowing: A 4.25 rating in a category crowded with near-identical editors is respectable rather than remarkable, and the usual trade-off applies. It is free because it carries advertising, including interstitials between actions. It is also an unofficial tool with no link to the game's publisher, and putting a finished skin onto your character happens outside the app.
