This app is only useful if you already bank with Banque Populaire in France. It is the customer-facing client for the group's Cyberplus online banking, and the sign-in expects the credentials issued when your account was opened.
Day to day: balances and transaction history across current accounts, savings and cards; transfers between your own accounts and to saved beneficiaries; standing orders; and card controls such as freezing a card you have mislaid. Sensitive operations are validated through the bank's own in-app authentication rather than a code sent by text, which removes a step when you pay someone new.
Where it stumbles: 4.02 across five million installs is respectable without being good, and French banking apps of this size tend to collect the same grievances. Forced re-authentication, redesigns that move familiar buttons, and outages during maintenance windows all appear in reviews. Regional Banque Populaire banks differ in what they enable as well, so a feature a friend describes may simply not exist on your account.
Scope: retail banking for a French institution, nothing more. There is no reason for anyone outside that customer base to install it, and the interface assumes French throughout.
